Eucharist
The Eucharist is the sacrament that is received the most often on Sundays at Mass.
The Matter
The Matters of the sacrament of the Eucharist are bread and wine made from grapes
The Minister
The ordinary minister of the Eucharist is a priest or bishop.
The Form
The priest or bishop takes unleavened bread and says the words that Jesus said at the last supper "Take this all of you and eat of it for this is my body which will given up for you. He then takes wine and says "Take this all of you and drink it for this is the chalice of my blood the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins. Do this i memory of me"
The Rite
The recipient receives the Eucharist and responds with Amen meaning I believe that this is the true body and blood of Christ.
