Reconciliation
Matter
In Reconciliation the only matter are the sins of the person confessing.
Minister
The minister can be any priest or bishop
Form
The form is the priest saying "I absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
Rite
Before going into confession one must do an examination of conscience where one looks inward at their life at their own sins. Before saying their sins one must also say an act of contrition and do a penance after the confession. The penance cannot be only inwardly but must also be an action such as forgiving someone but priest can give a penance to say a prayer or a rosary
Only mortal sins have to be confessed at confession venial sins can be forgiven in other ways but can be confessed if one wishes to.
